A very easy way to make your plain old candles look lacey and more feminine is to strike a match and pass a candle over the match until the candle is warm and a bit softer. Pick up a flower, leaf, or your favorite flora and press into the softened candle wax. Tie a piece of Holiday ribbon around the candle near the top. You can just use a few flowers or cover it up like an outdoor scene.
